The cookie dough is made similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of dry vanilla pudding mix whisked into the cookie dough. And green food coloring added to the cookie dough. Place the cookie dough onto a large ungreased baking sheet, and bake until they are fully cooked through.
St. Patrick's Day Pudding Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ( 3 oz.) box vanilla pudding mix
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- green food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, pudding mix, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the food coloring, and mix until it is fully green. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
