Easy and buttery homemade snowball cookies that are filled with sprinkles, and rolled in powdered sugar, making them look like snowballs. These easy cookies are perfect to bake for any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love the sweet buttery flavor of these cookies.
The cookie dough is made like a classic shortbread cookie dough, except for the addition of sprinkles folded into the cookie dough. Roll the dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are lightly browned on the bottom. Once they are out of the oven, roll each cookie in a shallow dish of powdered sugar.
