Snickers Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies filled with tons of chocolate flavor from the chocolate chips and chopped snickers candy bars folded into the dough. These easy cookies are perfect for just about any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love these non traditional chocolate chip cookies.

The cookie dough is started like a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, then chopped mini snickers candy bars are added into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup mini snickers candy bars, chopped

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
2. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped snickers candy bars.
3. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
