Soft and chewy snickerdoodle cookies topped with chocolate kisses. Blossom cookies are usually made using peanut butter cookies, but the chocolate combined with the cinnamon flavor goes perfectly together. These cookies are delicious for just about any holiday or occasion.
The cookie dough for these cookies is made similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except that cream of tartar is added into the cookie dough to give them the classic snickerdoodle flavor. They are also rolled into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar before baking. Once these cookies have baked, topped each cookie with one unwrapped chocolate kiss, and let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
