Tender sirloin steak topped with garlic butter, this steak is a delicious hearty meal. There are many ways to cook steak, the most common way is to sear it on all sides or grilled until the steak is cooked all of the way through. But the method that I chose is to first cook the steak with a quick sear on all sides, not to completely cook the steak just to brown it. The steak will finish cooking in the oven. A mixture of butter and minced garlic is topped onto the hot steaks. The garlic butter melts into the steak and makes it even more flavor full. Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite steakhouse side dishes.
Before they are cooked, the steaks first need to be seasoned with a dry rub of salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder. To cook the steak, it started with a quick sear on all sides to lightly brown. The steak is then finished cooking in the oven until the steak is tender and cooked to your preference. For medium rare steaks, they will only need about 7 minutes in the oven, but if you prefer more well done steaks then it may need the full 10 minutes.
