Reindeer Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate M&Ms, and decorated with pretzels, candy eyes, and red M&Ms to make them look like reindeer. Everyone will love these easy soft and chewy peanut butter cookies with a fun Christmas themed twist.

The cookie dough is made like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, except for the addition of M&Ms. Roll the dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven and decorate with candy eyes, pretzels and M&Ms.

Reindeer Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup M&Ms
  • candy eyes
  • pretzels
  • red M&Ms

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  2. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the M&Ms. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and decorate with candy eyes, pretzels, and M&Ms.
