Reindeer Chocolate Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate sugar cookies decorated with pretzels, candy eyes, and red M&Ms to make the cookies look like reindeers. Everyone will love these easy chewy chocolate cookies for a fun and simple Christmas treat this year.

The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven and top with pretzels, candy eyes, and M&Ms.

Reindeer Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pretzels
  • candy eyes
  • red M&Ms

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until it is smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with candy eyes, pretzels and M&Ms.
