The cookie dough is made similar to a classic monster cookie dough, except for the addition of Reese’s pieces instead of M&Ms. Press the cookie dough into a greased square baking dish and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Reese's Pieces Monster Cookie Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Reese's pieces
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix butter with peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Fold in the Reese's pieces and chocolate chips. Press the cookie dough evenly into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
