The cookie dough is made similar to a classic shortbread cookie dough, except for the addition of peanut butter. And with the Reese’s pieces and chocolate chips folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls and flatten each one slightly. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Reese's Pieces Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Reese's pieces
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter, and sugar until smooth. Add in the vanilla extract and flour, and mix until it is fully combined.
- Fold in the Reese's pieces and chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls and flatten each one slightly. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
