Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies made with a box of cake mix and made red and green with food coloring. Each cookie is also stuffed with a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup. The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough between two bowls and mix one with red food coloring and one with green. Fold chocolate chips into each cookie dough and take a small amount of each dough and roll together into balls. Flatten each one slightly and place one peanut butter cup on each cookie dough. Roll together into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Stuffed Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Christmas Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box white cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- red and green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips, divided
- mini Reese's peanut butter cups
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough between two bowls and mix one with red food coloring and one with green. Fold 1/2 cup chocolate chips in each bowl.
- Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Place one peanut butter cup on each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Flatten slightly and place one peanut butter cup on each cookie dough. Roll together into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
