The cookie dough is made like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, except for the addition of red and blue M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and Fourth of July themed sprinkles. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Red, White and Blue Peanut Butter M&M Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup red and blue M&Ms
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Fourth of July sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking soda together. In a large bowl, mix butter with peanut butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, and mix until fully combined. Fold in the M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
