Sweet and moist pumpkin bundt cake with a dusting of powdered sugar on top. This easy and delicious cake is the perfect fall dessert. No mixer is needed to bake this cake, just a large bowl and a whisk. It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare the batter for this cake. Instead of making a traditional icing for this cake, it is instead dusted with powdered sugar. This cake is moist and delicious with warm spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger all though out the cake.

All of the ingredients are whisked together in the same bowl, first the dry ingredients are combined. Then the pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract are added to the dry ingredients. Whisk it all together until a smooth batter forms. Pour the cake batter into a large bundt pan and bake until the cake comes out clean with a toothpick. Let the cake cool in the cake pan for 10-15 minutes before placing the cake onto a serving plate. The easiest way to get a bundt cake out of the pan is to run a knife around the edges of the and turning the pan upside down onto a plate. Let the cake cool completely before sprinkling powdered sugar around the cake.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 ( 15 oz.) can pumpkin puree
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9 or 10 inch bundt cake pan. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
  • Add in pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla extract. Whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Pour cake batter into the greased cake pan. Bake for 50-55 minutes.
  • Let cool for 10-15 minutes, remove cake from cake pan. Let cool completely. Dust cake with powdered sugar.
