Soft and chewy sugar cookies stuffed with a chocolate peppermint kiss in each cookie. These cookies are a fun treat to bake this holiday season. They are so soft and chewy, and the chocolate bakes into the cookie dough, resulting in a creamy melted bite of chocolate in each cookie. Everyone will love the peppermint surprise in each cookie.
The dough for these cookies is made with a classic sugar cookie dough, you can even use a premade sugar cookie dough to save on time if you would rather. Once the dough is prepared, form into balls, and flatten each ball. Place one chocolate kiss onto each piece of dough, and roll into balls, covering the chocolate completely. Place onto ungreased baking sheets, and bake until the cookies are done in the center. Let cool completely on wire racks before serving.
