Parmesan Buttered Egg Noodles

Buttery pasta with minced garlic and parmesan cheese. These parmesan buttered egg noodles make the perfect side dish for any occasion. It is so quick and is to make. It takes less than 20 minutes from start to finish to prepare this dish. Egg noodles covered with garlic butter and mixed with parmesan cheese is a great comfort food dish that goes great with meatloaf, or any other meal that you would like.

First, cook the egg noodles according to package directions, then set them aside in a large bowl. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and cook garlic in the butter until fragrant. Mix with the cooked pasta and add in grated parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and dried parsley.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place into a large bowl. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add in minced garlic, cook until fragrant.
  • Mix with pasta along with parmesan cheese and seasonings.

YUM. Years back, I did pretty much the same thing but I used fettucine noodles, a lofw fat margarine, and asiago. Can’t wait to try this recipe, however since our egg noodles are begging to be used.
