I love fried chicken, but since it is not the healthiest dinner option this oven-fried chicken makes a great substitute. The chicken is tender and juicy with a crispy crust on the outside. The crispy crust for the chicken is made with only all-purpose flour and some simple seasonings that you already have in the pantry. This chicken is quick and easy to prepare, perfect for a simple weeknight dinner.

I used chicken tenders for this, but you can also use chicken breast, or dice it for chicken nuggets. Eggs, milk and a little bit of hot sauce are whisked together in a shallow dish. The egg mixture will help the flour coating stay on the chicken. For the flour mixture, it is a mixture of all-purpose flour along with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder. All of these ingredients are combined together in a large plastic bag. Then after the chicken has been coated in the egg and milk mixture, it is placed into the plastic bag with the flour mixture. Similar to shake and bake chicken, the chicken is shaked in the bag to fully coat it in the flour mixture. Place the coated chicken onto a large greased baking sheet and bake until the chicken is tender and no longer pink in the center.
