The cookie dough is made like a classic peanut butter cookie dough. If you are short on time, you can use a refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough instead. Wrap cookie dough around each Oreo cookie, covering the cookie fully. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart, and bake until the center is cooked fully. Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
Oreo Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place one Oreo cookie on each cookie dough, and wrap around covering the Oreo fully. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
