The cookie dough is made like a classic mint chocolate chip cookie dough, then each one is stuffed with a chocolate Oreo cookie. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Oreo Stuffed Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and mint extract, and mix until it is smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the green food coloring, mix until it is fully green. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls, and flatten each one slightly. Place one Oreo cookie onto each piece of dough, roll into a ball, covering the Oreo cookie completely.
- Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
