To make the cookie dough, butter is melted in a saucepan along with sugar, cocoa powder, and milk until it starts to boil. Let the mixture boil for one minute without stirring. Remove the mixture from the heat, and stir in oats, peanut butter and vanilla extract. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto large plates. Let the mixture sit until it is completely set.

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cups quick oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
