Pigs in a blanket are great for any occasion or party. But to make these tasty appetizers fun for Halloween, they are wrapped like mummies. They only use two simple ingredients, just a can of crescent rolls and either a package of little smokies, or sliced hot dogs. These tasty bites make a fun and quick way to enjoy as a Halloween snack or appetizer.
The crescent rolls are first separated into triangles, and cut into three. Wrap each strip of dough around the smokie in a mummy pattern. You can also use sliced hot dogs instead of little smokies for these. Place the mummies onto a large greased baking sheet, and bake until they are lightly golden browned. Serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
