Soft and chewy cookie cake filled with tons of delicious peanut butter and chocolate flavors. This easy cookie cake is made like a classic monster cookie dough topped with a creamy and delicious peanut butter frosting. Everyone will love this easy cookie cake for just about any occasion.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic monster cookie dough filled with chocolate chips and M&Ms. Press the cookie dough into a round cake pan and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before frosting. Make the peanut butter frosting by mixing all of the ingredients together. Pipe frosting onto the cake and serve.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup M&Ms
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3-4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspooon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the flour mixture until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms. Press the cookie dough into a greased round 9-inch cake pan.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely. In a large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pipe frosting onto cake.
