The brownie batter is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in the same mixing bowl until smooth. If you are short on time, you can use a premade brownie mix and prepare it according to package directions. The monster cookie dough is made with oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and m&ms. The cookie dough is placed over the brownie batter in a greased baking dish. It is baked until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. - 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup m&ms
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, quick oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until it is smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips and M&Ms.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Top evenly with the monster cookie dough. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
