Soft and chewy classic M&M cookies rolled into a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Classic snickerdoodle cookies is combined with a chewy M&M cookie to make these delicious chewy M&M snickerdoodle cookies. It has all of the classic cinnamon and sugar snickerdoodle flavor and the chocolate M&Ms throughout the cookies. Everyone will love these cookies for just about every holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made like a classic M&M cookie dough. But it is rolled in a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake until they are fully cooked through. Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

M&M Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until it is smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the m&ms. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
