Soft and chewy cookies filled with mint flavors and chocolate. These easy cookies are flavored with mint extract, and filled with mint chocolate M&Ms candy and crushed Oreo cookies. These easy cookies are perfect to bake for a fun St. Patrick’s day themed treat.
The cookie dough is stared similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except instead of vanilla extract, mint extract is used. Mint M&Ms and crushed Oreo cookies are then folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Mint Oreo M&M Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- 1 cup mint M&Ms
- 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and mint extract, and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the M&Ms and crushed Oreo cookies. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
