Soft and chewy classic mint chocolate chip cookies rolled in powdered sugar, making them more soft and chewy, and gives them a classic crinkle look. Everyone will love these easy soft and chewy cookies with delicious mint and chocolate chip flavors.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic mint chocolate chip cookie dough, then it is rolled into balls and rolled into a dish of powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Mint Chocolate Chip Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • green food coloring
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and mint extract and mix until smooth.
  2. Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the food coloring and fold in the chocolate chips. Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish, and roll cookie dough into balls. Roll each one into the powdered sugar.
  3. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
