These cookies combines these two cookies, they have the mint chocolate flavor, and topped off with a chocolate kiss on each cookie. They are perfect to bake this St. Patrick’s day, or any other occasion that you want to enjoy the classic mint chocolate chip flavors.
The cookie dough is made just like a classic mint chocolate chip cookie dough. They are baked in the oven as usual, then once they come out of the oven, place on unwrapped chocolate kiss on top of each cookie. Let them cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
Mint Chocolate Chip Blossom Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon mint extract
- green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- chocolate kisses
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Add in the green food coloring, and mix until it is fully green. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and place one chocolate kiss on each cookie.
