Marshmallow Brownies

Soft and chewy chocolate brownies topped with mini marshmallows. Everyone will love the chewy classic chocolate brownies with the delicious marshmallow topping. They make the perfect easy treat to bake for just about any holiday or occasion.

The batter for the brownies is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together until smooth. Spread the batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Top with the mini marshmallows, and bake for just a few more minutes, until the marshmallows are lightly browned.

Marshmallow Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in the eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with marshmallows. Bake for another 5-10 minutes.
