Easy homemade muddy buddies made with chopped up leftover candy bars. The muddy buddies are Chex cereal mixed with chocolate and peanut butter all covered in powdered sugar, along with chopped up candy bars. Everyone will love this easy sweet treat using up some leftover holiday candy.
The candy is made just like a classic muddy buddies, except for the addition of chopped up leftover candy bars folded into the mixture. Store in a large freezer bag and store in the fridge until serving.
Leftover Candy Muddy Buddies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 cups Chex cereal
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped up candy bars
Instructions
- Place chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter into a large microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Fold in the cereal and powdered sugar until fully coated. Fold in the candy bars. Store in a large freezer bag.
