The batter is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients, except for the kitkats are mixed together in a large bowl until smooth. Spread half of the batter into a greased square baking dish. Top with kitkat candy bars and cover fully with the remaining brownie batter. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
