Fall is the baking season, but I also like to make no-bake treats during this season as well. These homemade crunch bars are so easy to make, you never have to use the oven at all to make them. Just the microwave is needed to melt the chocolate. Only two ingredients are needed to make these crispy candy bars. They are crunchy and chocolatey, they taste just like store bought crunch bars. They make the perfect treats to make with kids or to give as holiday gifts.
The only ingredients that you need to make these crunch bars are chocolate chips and rice krispie cereal. Place the chocolate chips into a large microwaveable bowl and melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Stirring between every interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Measure out 2 cups of rice krispie cereal and mix it with the melted chocolate. Mix the cereal with the chocolate to fully coat, press the mixture into a baking dish. Refrigerate the candy for at least 30 minutes, until it is set. Cut the chocolate into bars, store in the refrigerator until serving.
