The canned bean dip is great for enjoying as a snack with your favorite chips, or as a appetizer for game day. But it is so much cheaper and just as easy as opening a can of bean dip to make it your self. You can get a can of refried beans for much cheaper then buying a can of premade bean dip. And if you already have pickled jalapeno slices and some basic seasonings at home, then all that you will need is a can of refried beans to make your own bean dip. Served hot or cold for a great dip to enjoy as a quick snack or while you watch the game.
It only takes about 5 minutes to make this tasty dip. You will need a food processor, a can of refried beans, pickled jalapenos and some seasonings. Place all of your ingredients into the food processor and combine until the ingredients are all combined and smooth. If you would rather a more milder dip, you can reduce the amount of pickled jalapenos in the mixture. Choose your favorite seasonings for this bean dip, I chose to make the dip even more spicy by adding in chili powder and ground cumin. Place your bean dip mixture into a bowl, and either serve it as is cold like the canned bean dip. Or you can also heat it up in the microwave for a minute or two if you prefer a hot dip.
