Halloween Pudding Cookies

Soft and chewy sugar cookies made with a box of pudding mix, and made orange and purple with food coloring. These easy and fun cookies make the perfect easy Halloween treat to bake this year. Everyone will love the fun Halloween colors and delicious flavors.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of pudding mix. Divide the cookie dough into two bowls, and mix one with orange food coloring and one with purple. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll into balls. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at two inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Halloween Pudding Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ( 3 oz.) box vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange and purple food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, pudding mix, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Divide the cookie dough into two bowls, and mix one with orange food coloring and one with purple food coloring. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls.
  • Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
