The cookie dough is made similar to a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, except for the addition of green food coloring. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven and top each one with a heart sprinkle.
Grinch Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined.
- Add in the food coloring and mix until it is fully green. Fold in the chocolate chips and roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with sprinkles.
