Let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Funfetti Gingerbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
- In another large bowl, combine butter, sugar, and molasses until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add the flour mixture in until it is fully combined.
- Fold in Christmas sprinkles. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
