Frosted Flake Cookie Cups

Soft and chewy cookie cups filled with frosted flakes cereal. They are similar to a sugar cookie cup, but with crunchy cereal added to the dough. The cereal adds a sweet flavor to the cookie cups and crunchy texture. Everyone will love these easy cookie cups for just about any holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of frosted flakes folded into the cookie dough. Evenly divide the cookie dough between a paper lined muffin pan. Bake until each cookie cup comes out clean with a toothpick.

Frosted Flake Cookie Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups frosted flakes cereal

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the frosted flakes cereal. Evenly divide the cookie dough between the paper liners. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
