Easter Egg Buttercream Truffles

Quick and easy chocolate covered buttercream truffles for Easter. These quick and easy no-bake candies make the perfect easy and delicious treat to make this Easter season. All you need is four simple ingredients and a large mixing bowl to make them.

The only four ingredients that you need is butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a bag of chocolate chips. Mix the butter with powdered sugar and vanilla until a thick dough forms. Form the mixture into oval shapes and set them onto a plate. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Coat each truffle in the mixture and set onto a plate. Let sit until it is completely set.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3-4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine butter with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until combined. Form the mixture into oval shapes and set onto a plate. Freeze for at least 20 minutes.
  • Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
  • Coat each buttercream truffle in the chocolate and set onto a plate. Let sit until it is completely set.
