Easter Egg Blossom Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies topped with mini cadbury eggs. These easy cookies have all of the classic chocolate chip cookie flavors, but topped with cadbury cream eggs, making them the perfect easy treat to bake this Easter or spring. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the cookies and classic chocolate chip cookie flavors.

The cookie dough is made like a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, it is then rolled into balls, and placed onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven, and place the mini cadbury eggs on each cookie.

Easter Egg Blossom Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • mini cadbury eggs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven, and place mini cadbury eggs on each cookie.
