Easy homemade peanut butter balls with a fun Easter twist. These easy peanut butter balls are covered in melted chocolate made yellow with food coloring and decorated with candy eyes and M&Ms to make them look like Easter chicks. Everyone will love these fun treats this Easter.

The peanut butter mixture is made like a classic peanut butter ball, roll the mixture into balls and freeze while you melt the chocolate. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until they are fully melted and smooth. Add in yellow food coloring until it is yellow. Coat each peanut butter ball in the chocolate and set onto a plate. Decorate with the candy eyes and M&Ms. Let sit until it is completely set.

Easter Chick Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2-3 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips
  • yellow food coloring
  • candy eyes
  • orange M&Ms

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until a thick dough forms. Roll the mixture into balls and place onto a plate.
  • Place the chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth. Stir in the food coloring.
  • Coat each peanut butter ball in the chocolate and set onto a plate. Decorate with candy eyes and M&Ms. Let sit until it is fully set.
