Soft and chewy sugar cookies made to look like the earth. These easy cookies are made with a simple sugar cookie dough, then part of the dough is colored green, and the other part is colored blue. The cookie dough is rolled together, and once they are baked, they resemble the earth. They are the perfect treat to bake for a fun earth day themed dessert.
The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, then half of the dough is removed to another bowl. Color one half of the dough blue with blue food coloring. Then color the other half of the dough green with the green food coloring. Take a piece of each color of cookie dough, and roll the together in a ball. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
