Easy no-bake truffles using edible double chocolate cookie dough. The cookie dough is made with both cocoa powder and chocolate chips. All covered in melted chocolate, these truffles make a great no-bake dessert that everyone will love. The cookie dough is made edible by heating the flour and cocoa powder in the microwave. They would be great for a homemade Christmas candy, or any other occasion.
The flour and cocoa powder are first whisked together and heated in the microwave for a minute. Using a mixer, beat softened butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add milk into the mixture, beat until smooth. Add the flour mixture and beat until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and roll the mixture into bite-sized balls. Set onto plates and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate and set onto plates. Let the chocolate set completely before serving.Â

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 12 oz. chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
- Place flour and cocoa powder together in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 40-60 seconds, set aside.
- In a large bowl with a mixer, beat softened butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add in milk, beat until smooth. Add the flour mixture, beat until fully combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Roll mixture into balls, set onto plates. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Place chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until fully melted and smooth. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, set back onto plates. Refrigerate until the chocolate has set.
