Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies filled with both semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. And the cookies are rolled into a mixture of cinnamon sugar, making them have the classic snickerdoodle cookie flavor. The cookie dough is started like a classic sugar cookie dough, except with the addition of both semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll them into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in both of the chocolate chips. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each ball into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
