Crock-pot shredded chicken tacos are great for a weeknight slow-cooker meal. But the addition of ranch seasoning makes the tacos so much better. Ranch and salsa go together well, making ranch chicken tacos a natural flavor combination. The prep time for these tacos takes less than 10 minutes, all of the ingredients get placed into a crock-pot. And the crock-pot cooks it all day until you are ready to eat it. There are many ways that you can serve this chicken, such as tacos, burritos, enchiladas or even as chicken nachos.
Four ingredients are all that you need to make these tacos. Just chicken, one packet of taco seasoning, one packet of ranch seasoning mix and hot sauce. Dump all of the ingredients into a greased crock-pot and cover with the lid. Cook the chicken on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours. When the chicken is fully cooked, it should be tender you should easily be able to shred the chicken with two forks.
