These crock-pot chicken tacos are my favorite meal to make in the slow-cooker. It takes less than 5 minutes to put everything in the crock-pot, than it is ready by dinner time. I love tacos, especially chicken tacos. They are even better when there is very little prep work and no cooking required. The crock-pot does all of the work, it cooks all day and when you are ready to eat dinner, all you need to do is shread the chicken and serve it in flour tortillas or taco shells. All of the ingredients used are gluten-free, so if you want to keep this meal gluten-free, instead of serving the tacos in flour tortillas use taco shells or corn tortillas.
Only three ingredients are needed to make these delicious tacos. Just chicken breast, taco seasoning and hot sauce. Place all of the ingredients into a lightly greased slow-cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours. When the chicken is done, you should be able to easily shread it with a fork. Serve in tortillas or taco shells with all of your favorite taco toppings.
