Crock-Pot Chex Mix

Chex mix is a classic snack to serve any time, it even makes a great game day snack to enjoy while watching the game. This Chex mix is cooked in the crock-pot. It is filled with Chex cereal and mini pretzels and mixed with melted butter and Worcestershire sauce. It is so quick and easy to mix all of the ingredients together in the crock-pot, then you can set the crock-pot and let cook until the cereal and pretzels are crispy. Store leftovers in an air-tight container for up to one week at room temperature.

You can use any Chex cereal that you prefer, or you can use a mix of them. Such as rice or corn Chex cereal. Mix the cereal with pretzels, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Cover with the crock-pot lid and let cook on high heat for 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Until the cereal and pretzels are crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups chex cereal
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Place cereal and pretzels into a large greased crock-pot. Mix with melted butter, seasonings and worcestershire sauce.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 -3 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes.
