Crispy Air-Fryer Chicken Parmesan Strips

Crispy and delicious homemade chicken strips cooked in the air-fryer and coated in a crispy parmesan breading. And topped with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. These easy chicken tenders make the perfect easy weeknight meal that everyone will love. Serve with your favorite side dishes for a easy family friendly meal.

The chicken tenders are breaded in a mixture of egg and milk, then coated in a mixture of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese. Then they are cooked in the air-fryer in batches until the breading is crispy, and the chicken is no longer pink in the center. Top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Cook in the air-fryer for another few minutes, just until the cheese has melted.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • marinara sauce
  • shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air-fryer to 400 F. In a shallow dish, whisk together egg and milk. Combine breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese in another dish.
  • Fully coat each chicken tender into the egg mixture, then fully coat in the breadcrumbs. Place into a greased air-fryer basket. Air-fry for 12-15 minutes. Top with marinara sauce, and cheese, and air-fry for another 3-5 minutes.
