The batter for these brownies is made like a classic chocolate fudge brownies. If you want to save on time, you can even use a box of pre-made brownie mix, and mix in the dried cranberries into the prepared brownie batter. Spread the batter into a small square baking dish, and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Cranberry Brownies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Fold in the dried cranberries.
- Evenly spread the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
