Cranberry Brownies

Chewy chocolate brownies filled with dried cranberries. These sweet and delicious brownies are filled with delicious chocolate fudge flavor mixed with a sweet cranberry flavor. These delicious brownies taste great any time of the year, and would make a great dessert for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

The batter for these brownies is made like a classic chocolate fudge brownies. If you want to save on time, you can even use a box of pre-made brownie mix, and mix in the dried cranberries into the prepared brownie batter. Spread the batter into a small square baking dish, and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.
  • Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Fold in the dried cranberries.
  • Evenly spread the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
