French toast is a classic breakfast or brunch dish. It is even great for breakfast for dinner. French toast is so easy and simple to make, all you need is bread, eggs and milk. I also added in some cinnamon and sugar to sweeten the french toast a little. This easy french toast takes less than 20 minutes to make. Serve warm with maple syrup and with bacon and eggs for a easy weekend brunch.

The egg milk mixture is simple to make, just whisk eggs, milk, granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together in a shallow dish. A pie plate works best for this because it is wide enough for the bread to fit into. Coat both sides of the bread in the egg and milk mixture, then cook it in either a skillet or griddle over medium heat that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cook it until it is lightly browned, flip and cook until the other side is lightly browned. Serve warm with butter and maple syrup.
