Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies filled with Christmas themed sprinkles, and topped with a chocolate kiss. These easy Christmas blossom cookies are perfect for baking this Christmas season. They are so soft and chewy and combines the two classic flavors of peanut butter and chocolate. The sprinkles add a fun Christmas twist to these classic cookies that everyone will love.

The dough for these cookies is made similar to a classic peanut butter cookie, except with the addition of Christmas themed sprinkles added into the cookie dough. They are rolled into balls, and baked until the center of each cookie comes out clean. Once the cookies are out of the oven, place one unwrapped chocolate kiss on top of each cookie. Let them cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles
  • chocolate kisses

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the Christmas sprinkles.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and top each cookie with one chocolate kiss.
