Soft and chewy chocolate fudge brownies filled with Christmas themed red and green M&Ms. Everyone will love the classic chewy brownie texture and the added chocolate flavor from the M&Ms. These easy brownies make the perfect easy treat to bake this Christmas season.

The brownie batter is made similar to a classic brownie batter, except for the addition of Christmas themed M&Ms mixed into the batter. Spread the batter into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center of the brownies comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup Christmas M&Ms

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
2. Fold in the M&Ms. Spread the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
