Soft and chewy sugar cookies made with a box of chocolate pudding mix. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the cookies and the delicious chocolate flavors. They make the perfect easy treat to bake for just about any holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of dry chocolate pudding mix added to the flour mixture. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 ( 3 oz.) box chocolate pudding mix
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, pudding mix, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy.
2. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture and mix until combined. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
