Soft and chewy chocolate cookies filled with delicious chocolate M&M candy. These cookies are chewy and delicious, the m&ms go perfectly together with the flavor of the chocolate cookies. These cookies are great for baking at any holiday or any occasion. Everyone will love this twist on classic m&m cookies.

The cookie dough is made chocolate with cocoa powder added into the cookie dough. After the cookie dough is prepared, chocolate M&M candy is folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart and bake until the center comes out clean. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup m&ms

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy.
2. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until it is smooth. Add in the flour mixture and mix until the flour is fully combined. Fold in the m&ms.
3. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
